Thank you for participating in a Next Level Lan Pokemon Tournament. Listed below are the rules for all Pokemon Battles tournaments.

The Rules:

Banned:
Pokemon: Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-oh, Celebi, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys (all forms), Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, and Wobbuffet
Moves: Double Team, Minimize, Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, and Sheer Cold.
Cheats: Any cheat that affects your team in any way, shape, or form will result in your forfeiture.

General:
Each team may consist of up to four Pokemon, with no level cap.
Teams must be locked in, both in Pokemon and item.
Participants are expected to be ready to play when their names are called. After one minute, participants not ready will forfeit the match.
Spectators may not give instructions to players while they battle. Spectators that shout instructions to players will be fed to the zombies.

Registration:
All participants must be registered before the cutoff time given for each event.
Each participant is required to bring the game pak with their team on it and a Nintendo DS (any format).

Advancement:
The first round is free. There is a 5 dollar participation fee for anyone who wishes to continue past the first round. Each tournament will be double elimination, and players will advance through the brackets until two are left.

Players:
Finally, we ask all participants and spectators to remember that everyone is here to have fun. General trash talking and joking around is ok, and some may say is part of the gamer scene. Blantant rudeness and poor sportsmanship, however, will not be tolerated.
